The advent of automated insulin delivery (AID) systems in 2020 marked a disruptive event in managing type 1 diabetes, benefiting children and adults alike. By 2024, advances in real-world data and research motivated an update to the French consensus on AID systems to expand accessibility, refine guidelines, and optimize patient follow-up. AID systems have consistently improved glycemic control by reducing HbA1c, increasing time-in-range (TIR), and minimizing hypoglycemia, with significant benefits even for specific populations such as individuals with poor glycemic control, brittle diabetes, children, very young children, pregnant women, those with insulin resistance or gastroparesis, or after bariatric surgery.

Purpose: CPAP is the standard treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), but as many as 50% of patients discontinue its use, within three years. The PROTEUS project aims to enhance CPAP adherence through telemonitoring.
Patients And Methods: OSA patients undergoing CPAP treatment since July 2018, had an in-person reassessment after three months, followed by quarterly telemonitoring by providers, who intervened in cases of poor adherence (less than 4 h·night or less than 70% of days), excessive mask leakage, or elevated residual apnea-hypopnea index (rAHI).

Through a prospective comparative intention-to-treat study, we studied the impact of remote monitoring of chronic wounds on safety and on the consumption of healthcare system resources. From January to June 2023, 103 consecutive patients were managed according to conventional follow-up (group CF, 61 patients) or to follow-up in which remote wound monitoring (group RM, 42 patients) could be used. Data were collected prospectively.

Background: High rates of non-adherence to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in obstructive sleep apnoea hamper good clinical outcomes. Current recommendations assumes two behaviours (adherence and non-adherence) and days 7-90 follow-up post-CPAP initiation mitigates against non-adherence.
Objectives: To investigate associations between early CPAP-usage behaviours and (1) CPAP adherence at month 3 of treatment and (2) sleep centres' treatment pathways (the procedures patients undergo that may affect barriers or facilitators of CPAP adherence).
