This paper introduces We-Be band, a significant leap in wearable technology for real-time physiological monitoring. The device includes Photoplethysmography (PPG) for cardiovascular health, Electrodermal Activity (EDA) for stress and emotional response, Skin Temperature for body heat regulation, and an Accelerometer (ACC) for physical activity tracking. This sensor array enables real-time, in-depth biofeedback and data collection. Additionally, the We-Be band incorporates Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for efficient data transmission to our mobile app, allowing users to view their health data in real-time. Its ultra-low-power design ensures a battery life of upto 14 days on typical usage, emphasizing convenience and continuous monitoring without frequent recharges. The device's ecosystem supports extensive customization and research application flexibility, thanks to its open-source API, mobile app integration, and cloud connectivity. This versatility makes the We-Be band an adaptable tool for scientific research. Crucially, our subject experiments confirm that the We-Be band delivers data quality comparable to gold standard medical grade devices in the field. This finding highlights its accuracy and suitability for research use and studies, affirming its role as a reliable and effective device for monitoring physiological parameters.
