Cellular angiofibromas (CAFs) are benign mesenchymal neoplasms of the vulva and lower genitourinary tract. Although most cases are benign with excellent prognosis, data on CAFs with cytologic atypia (aCAF) and sarcomatous transformation (tCAF) is limited. We identified 13 vulvar CAFs comprising 4 aCAFs and 9 tCAFs.

Nodular goitre caused by thyroid hyperplasia is a benign condition arising from abnormalities in thyroid gland physiology, resulting from an imbalance between thyroid-stimulating hormone, thyrotropin-releasing hormone, and the follicular epithelium of the thyroid gland. The histopathological characteristics of this hyperplasia can resemble well-differentiated follicular carcinoma of the thyroid. Here, we present the case of a 66-year-old man with clinicopathological features suggestive of follicular carcinoma with extrathyroidal extension.

Renal function after radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) in patients with advanced upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is an indicator of eligibility for postoperative chemotherapy. The present study aimed to utilize machine learning for predicting renal function status after RNU and to investigate the contribution of several features to this prediction. The present retrospective study included 764 medical records of patients with non-metastatic UTUC who received RNU from 2008 to 2022.
