An 89-year-old woman was referred to our hospital with complaints of body weight loss and anemia. Lower gastrointestinal imaging revealed a 3.5-cm stenosis in the descending colon near the splenic flexure. Endoscopy did not pass through the stricture. A biopsy showed no evidence of malignancy or lymphoma. Enhanced abdominopelvic computed tomography showed a thickened descending colon wall with swollen lymph nodes around the colon. Because descending colon cancer was suspected, laparoscopic-assisted left hemicolectomy with D2 lymph node dissection was performed. Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed severe fibrosis and chronic inflammatory cell infiltration. Immunohistochemistry staining showed the number of immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-positive cells at 100/high-power field (400×), and the IgG4/IgG ratio was >40%. The serum IgG4 level was measured postoperatively and was within the normal range at 54 mg/dL. The patient was diagnosed as a probable group of IgG4-related disease based on the comprehensive clinical diagnostic criteria for IgG4-related disease.

Objective: To analyze the effects of multiplane reconstruction (MPR) technology with multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) in the etiological diagnosis of acute intestinal obstruction (AIO). Obtaining clear images is of great help in determining the type and etiology of AIO, and doctors can quickly develop treatment plans to improve prognosis and efficacy.
Methods: The clinical data of patients with suspected AIO admitted to our hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were retrospectively selected as the observation objects.

Cross-sectional imaging may be used to characterise the location and extent of colorectal mesenchymal tumours (CRMTs). Given the anticipated variation in tumour behaviour and varying morbidity based on surgical margins, a reliable, non-invasive means of predicting malignant potential could facilitate case management. Background: The inclusion of the colon as part of intestinal and multivisceral allografts has increased in the last decade.
Methods: We describe for the first time in the literature a full colon transplantation as a part of a visceral allograft. The new approach involves modifications of the procurement technique with preservation of all three visceral aortic branches and incorporation of the descending and sigmoid colon as a part of the allograft.

Introduction: Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) is a highly malignant sarcoma and an extremely rare tumor, predominantly found in the abdominal and pelvic regions. Here, we report the case of a patient who underwent surgical treatment for multiple desmoplastic round cell tumor in the intestine.
Case Presentation: A 38-year-old male patient visited our hospital after a health check revealed positive occult blood in his stool and a colonoscopy revealed tumors in descending colon and sigmoid colon.
