Background: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a crucial yet challenging multi-phase procedure for treating early gastrointestinal cancers. This study developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-based automated surgical workflow recognition model for esophageal ESD and proposed an innovative training program based on esophageal ESD videos with or without AI labels to evaluate its effectiveness for trainees.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed complete ESD videos collected from seven hospitals worldwide between 2016 and 2024.

The initial injection of PEGylated nanoparticles can activate antibodies and the complement system, leading to the accelerated blood clearance (ABC) phenomenon, characterized by reduced circulation time and abnormal liver and spleen accumulation upon re-exposure. However, PEGylation is not essential for ABC induction, as non-PEGylated nanoparticles can also trigger the similar ABC phenomenon. In this study, we found non-PEGylated nanoemulsions (CE) could accelerate the blood clearance of subsequent injection of PEGylated nanoemulsions (PE) in beagles and rats, which was independent of antibodies and the complement system, but was associated with an increase in neutrophil numbers and phagocytic activity.

Objective: The primary aim of this investigation is to assess the effectiveness of implementing an innovative immobilization approach, spec ically the utilization of personalized open-face masks in combination with styrofoam fixation, for head and neck cancers receiving radiotherapy. The study seeks to evaluate the influence of this method on improving patients' precision in positioning and their overall comfort during the treatment process, in addition to exploring its potential capacity to mitigate the occurrence of anxiety and depression in this patient population.
Methods: A prospective, randomized controlled trial was undertaken to investigate the comparative efficacy of two immobilization approaches for the radiotherapy treatment of head and neck cancers.

Traffic flow prediction is a key challenge in intelligent transportation, and the ability to accurately forecast future traffic flow directly affects the efficiency of urban transportation systems. However, existing deep learning-based prediction models suffer from the following issues: First, CNN- or RNN-based models are limited by their architecture and unsuitable for modeling long-term sequences. Second, most Transformer-based methods focus solely on the traffic flow data itself during embedding, neglecting the implicit information behind the traffic data.
