Benign recurrent sixth nerve palsy is a rare phenomenon, and the majority of reported cases suffer from their first episode in early childhood. In this case report, we present a benign recurrent isolated left 6th nerve palsy in a nine-year-old boy. All episodes were precipitated by an upper respiratory tract infection and resolved within 2-3 weeks. Extensive investigations with two MRI scans, two lumbar punctures and several blood tests showed no underlying cause. This diagnosis of exclusion is worth considering in an otherwise well-appearing child, especially if precipitated by febrile illness.

Objectives: To explore the effect of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) combined with patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) on postoperative pain in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
Methods: A total of 140 patients with TKA were randomly divided into the taVNS group (=70, with 5 dropped-out) and the sham stimulation group (=70, with 6 dropped-out). The taVNS group received taVNS at the left ear conchae combined with PCIA treatment, while the sham stimulation group received sham taVNS at the left ear conchae combined with PCIA treatment.

Objectives: To investigate the clinical and audiological features in auditory neuropathy (AN) patients with different image performance of cochlear nerve (CN) on MRI.
Methods: AN patients were selected from the Multicenter Study on Clinical Diagnosis and Intervention of AN (2003-2023). Subjects were divided into four groups by CN size on MRI: bilateral AN with CN normalization (BAN), bilateral CN deficiency (BAN), unilateral AN with CND (UAN), and CN normalization (UAN) groups.

Background And Importance: Endovascular treatment of giant carotid cavernous aneurysms (GCCAs) may be associated with complications including rapid intrasaccular thrombosis, embolic ischemic stroke, and caroticocavernous fistula.
Clinical Presentation: A female in her 6th decade presented with a chronic, right partial abducens nerve palsy. Magnetic resononance angiography demonstrated a 25-mm right GCCA causing mass effect on the right cavernous sinus.
