Background: is a genus belonging to the ginger family. Currently, this genus is comprised of about 63 species, mainly distributed from India to Southeast Asia. During our fieldwork, a new species of was found in Chon Buri Province, Thailand. The objective of this article was to provide morphological evidence and confirm its relationships in through molecular phylogenetic analysis.

Methods: Plant samples were collected from field sites and investigated by conventional taxonomy and molecular techniques. The phylogenetic trees were reconstructed using the maximum likelihood criterion and Bayesian inference. The morphological evolution was also examined to elaborate the relationships among representative taxa.

Results: from southeastern Thailand is described and illustrated based on morphological features and its taxonomic placement was confirmed by molecular phylogenetic analyses and morphological evolution. An identification key is provided for the new species occurring in Thailand.

Conclusion: is a new enumerated species of from Thailand.

Biopolymer films derived from starch and chitosan were soaked in vanadium salt solutions to produce vanadium metallopolymer films. Visible light irradiation induces significant color shifts from yellow to green due to changes in the oxidation state of vanadium. The material was observed to undergo dramatic structural changes upon incorporation of vanadium, with further restructuring occurring after visible light illumination.

Background: Mitochondria regulate macrophage function, affecting cardiovascular diseases like atherosclerosis and heart failure. Their dynamics interact with macrophage cell death mechanisms, including apoptosis and necroptosis.

Purpose: This review explores how mitochondrial dynamics and metabolism influence macrophage inflammation and cell death in CVDs, highlighting therapeutic targets for enhancing macrophage resilience and reducing CVD pathology, while examining molecular pathways and pharmacological agents involved.

Species radiation in the family Drosophilidae has led to a diversity of species occupying a wide range of ecological niches. Despite the high diversity within this family, with over thousands of species and more than a hundred species recorded in Thailand and the Malay Peninsula, taxonomic classifications remain complicated due to morphological plasticity and inconsistent phylogenetic reconstructions based on limited genetic data. In this study, we assemble new mitochondrial genomes from and species collected in Thailand, expanding the genomic resources for these underexplored tropical regions.

Holstein Friesian is the most popular breed of dairy cows worldwide due to its exceptional milk production capabilities. In dairy cow management, the body condition score (BCS) is a useful tool, serving as a reliable indicator of a cow's nutritional status and overall health. It is determined via a subjective visual and tactile assessment of fat cover and muscle mass.
