Aggression in depressives and psoriatics.

Psychother Psychosom

Published: June 1985

The Questionnaire for Measuring Factors of Aggression (Fragebogen zur Erfassung von Aggressivitätsfaktoren, FAF) was completed by 113 depressive patients, 38 psoriatics, and 32 healthy controls. The controls had the lowest aggression scores, the neurotic depressives the highest. The monopolar endogeneous depressives had extremely high scores for autoaggressions and extremely low ones for outward aggressions, whereas the psoriatics show a contrary tendency: extremely high scores for outward aggressions and very low ones for autoaggressions.

The classification of chronic diseases has long been a prominent research focus in the field of public health, with widespread application of machine learning algorithms. Diabetes is one of the chronic diseases with a high prevalence worldwide and is considered a disease in its own right. Given the widespread nature of this chronic condition, numerous researchers are striving to develop robust machine learning algorithms for accurate classification.

Cubic silicon-carbide crystals (3C-SiC), known for their high thermal conductivity and in-plane stress, hold significant promise for the development of high-quality (Q) mechanical oscillators. We reveal degeneracy-breaking phenomena in 3C-phase crystalline silicon-carbide membrane and present high-Q mechanical modes in pairs or clusters. The 3C-SiC material demonstrates excellent microwave compatibility with superconducting circuits.

Forests play a vital role in environmental balance, supporting biodiversity and contributing to atmospheric purification. However, forest fires threaten this balance, making the identification of forest fire probability (FFP) areas crucial for effective mitigation. This study assesses forest fire trends and susceptibility in the Similipal Biosphere Reserve (SBR) from 2012 to 2023 using four machine learning models-extreme gradient boosting tree (XGBTree), AdaBag, random forest (RF), and gradient boosting machine (GBM).

In order to overcome harsh working environments and meet eco-friendly demands, the development of environmentally tolerant and recyclable hydrogels is necessary. Herein, multifunctional conductive hydrogel was successfully constructed by introducing starch into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/glycerin (Gly)/lithium chloride (LiCl) hydrogel. Starch is rich in active sites (-OH groups) that provide a variety of physical interactions for the construction of polymer hydrogels.
