Natural products (NPs) from bacteria, fungi, and plants are a vital source of drug leads, with Streptomyces species being particularly significant due to their capability of producing diverse bioactive compounds. Here, we present a fully automated, scalable, high-throughput platform for discovering bioactive NPs in Streptomyces (FAST-NPS). This platform integrates computational biosynthetic gene cluster (BGC) prediction and prioritization guided by self-resistance genes, automated cloning and heterologous expression, high-throughput fermentation, and product extraction.

This study aimed to document and better understand current ethical concepts and arguments about intimacy and sexuality in institutionalised older adults.

Climate-smart agricultural (CSA) practices have been adopted in various agroecological zones in Ethiopia to enhance productivity, improve resilience to climate change, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through carbon sequestration. However, the overall impact of different CSA practices on productivity, adaptation, and mitigation metrics has not been exhaustively evaluated. The study employed a meta-analysis approach based on data from 220 peer-reviewed articles to assess the effects of commonly used CSA practices on these indicators across Ethiopia's diverse agroecological regions.
