This study aimed to optimize the injection mold for oil production single-screw pump rubber stators. MOLDFLOW2023 analysis post-design determined the optimal gate position and gating system, and it also analyzed the impact of key parameters on quality. The optimization led to a significant improvement in product quality. The most influential factors were mold temperature, melt temperature, and injection time. The best settings were a mold temperature of 100 °C, a melt temperature of 70 °C, an injection time of 30 s, a holding time of 10 s, and a holding pressure of 60 MPa. This resulted in a 1.8-2.7% decrease in volume shrinkage and a 1.3-0.9% decrease in sink index, enhancing the quality of rubber stators and advancing injection molding technology.

Study on the Tribological Properties of Multilayer Concentric Hexagonal Laser Texturing on Rubber Surfaces of Screw Pumps.

Lusheng Petroleum Development Co., Ltd., China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Dongying 257077, China.

Given the friction and drag reduction effects observed in various biological hexagonal structures in nature, a new design was implemented on the rubber surface of the stator of a submersible screw pump. This design featured a multilayer concentric hexagonal groove structure. Furthermore, a composite multilayer hexagonal structure integrating grooves and pits was also developed and applied.

The effects of complex well conditions in shale oil wells on the swelling and tribological properties of high-acrylonitrile stator rubber used in screw pumps were investigated in this study. Tests were conducted considering the combined effects of immersion medium, temperature, and duration. The key parameters measured included mass change rate, volume change rate, hardness, elongation at break, tensile strength, surface micro-morphology of the rubber after thermal expansion and swelling, friction coefficient, and wear quantity.

In this article, we examined a high-performance, environmentally friendly method for producing composite films based on starch and natural rubber latex (NR). To increase the compatibility of the components, the casting dispersions were subjected to short-term (10 s) mechanical activation in a rotor-stator device. Using the rotational viscosimetry method, it was found that mechanical activation reduces the structuring degree and the effective viscosity of the casting dispersions.

This paper presents, for the first time, an absolute linear electromagnetic encoder consisting of a rubber belt with two chains of screen-printed metallic inclusions (rectangular patches). The position, velocity, and direction of the belt (the moving part) is determined by detecting the inclusions when they cross the stator (the static part). The stator is a microstrip line loaded with three complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs), resonant elements exhibiting a resonance frequency perturbed by the presence of inclusions on top of them (contactless).
