A growing body of evidence emphasizes the role of glycemic variability (GV) in the development of conventional diabetes-related complications. Furthermore, advancements in diabetes management and increased life expectancy have led to the emergence of new complications, such as cancer, liver disease, fractures, infections, and cognitive dysfunction. GV is considered to exacerbate oxidative stress and inflammation, acting as a major mechanism underlying these complications. However, few reviews have synthesized the association between GV and these emerging complications or examined their underlying mechanisms. Hence, this narrative review provides a comprehensive discussion of the burden, risks, and mechanisms of GV in these complications, offering further evidence supporting GV as a potential therapeutic target for diabetes management.

Objective: The authors sought to explore the skin deglycation ability of rosemary extract dietary supplements to support skin health and improve the signs of skin aging.
Methods: A PubMed literature search for English-language articles on rosemary extract effects on glycation and skin aging in clinical and/or preclinical settings was conducted.
Results: Endogenous and exogenous glycative stress and reactive oxygen species lead to the accumulation of advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs), accelerating skin aging.

This scoping review aimed to map current research on equipment modifications for beginner tennis players, identifying how these modifications impact skill acquisition, game performance, biomechanical variables, psychological aspects, and coaches' perspectives. Searches across the Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and SPORTDiscus, along with expert input following the PRISMA procedures, yielded 35 studies.
