We present a case of a 65-year-old woman diagnosed with mixed mucinous-invasive ductal carcinoma, a rare subtype of breast cancer. Utilizing 99mTc-FAPI-46 scintigraphy, we observed a high target-to-background ratio in the breast mass and metastatic axillary lymph nodes. Notably, a benign follicular nodule was also detected in the thyroid which showed absent 99mTc-FAPI uptake.

Background: Exosomes represent optimal biomarkers for liquid biopsy. Current exosome-based methods are still limited by isolation methods, long processing times, complex structure, low accuracy, large sample volume consumption, and the influence of chemical reagents on the analysis results.

Result: To overcome these challenges, a novel microfluidic approach that employs continuous, rapid, and efficient processes is proposed for the capture and enriching exosomes using the optical transparent antibody-conjugated microbeads within the chip.

This study aimed to investigate forkhead box A1 (FOXA1) expression in ovarian mucinous tumors and its association with mucin expression and KRAS mutation status to clarify its role in tumor progression and differentiation. We analyzed 57 normal tissues or benign ovarian lesions, 110 mucinous ovarian tumors, including mucinous carcinomas, and 214 other ovarian epithelial carcinomas using immunohistochemistry for FOXA1, MUC2, MUC5AC, and MUC6. We also performed KRAS mutation analysis.
