Background: The aim of the study was to assess 7-year-follow-up (7FU) after Autologous Matrix Induced Chondrogenesis plus Peripheral Blood Concentrate (AMIC+PBC) in chondral lesions at the ankle as part of a complex surgical approach.

Methods: In a prospective consecutive non-controlled clinical follow-up study, all patients with chondral lesion at the ankle treated with AMIC+PBC from July 17, 2016 to May 31, 2017 were included. Size and location of the chondral lesions, the Visual-Analogue-Scale Foot and Ankle (VAS FA) and the EFAS Score before treatment and at 5FU were analysed and compared with previous 2-year-follow-up (2FU).

Background: Humeral capitellar osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) lesions can be challenging to treat. Past studies have demonstrated grafting with extracellular matrix with bone marrow aspirate concentrate (ECM-BMAC) to be a viable technique for treatment of talar dome OCD, although little literature exists regarding application of this technique to the capitellum. This study aimed to report patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and return to sport (RTS) of pediatric patients at ≥1 year postoperatively who underwent ECM-BMAC grafting for capitellar OCD lesions.

Purpose: To characterize radiographic foot/ankle bony abnormalities in elite-level, asymptomatic male basketball athletes and to investigate the association between anthropometric (age, height, weight) or sport-specific characteristics (total exposures, player position, pregame ankle taping) and the prevalence of abnormal radiographic findings in asymptomatic basketball athletes.

Methods: Elite-level basketball players who underwent routine, preseason static radiographic imaging, including anteroposterior, lateral, and mortise views of the ankle were included. Radiographs were collected from asymptomatic athletes participating in preseason history and physical with negative anterior drawer/talar tilt test.
