Introduction: Social media is an ideal platform for displaying online material that promotes road safety and discourages road rule violations. However, limited research has investigated the impact of online material promoting road safety on attitudes and behavior, and whether different age groups are influenced by such content.
Method: The qualitative study explored: (a) opinions and attitudes towards online material/content that promotes road safety/discourages illegal driving behavior; (b) whether participants believe this content can influence attitudes/behavior; and (c) whether these opinions differed across age groups. Sixty-six licensed Queensland drivers participated in a focus group. Three age groups were included: young drivers (17-25 years; n = 21), middle-aged drivers (26-49 years; n = 22), and older drivers (50 + years; n = 23).
Results: The data were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis, resulting in four themes: (1) Metrics behind a persuasive message, (2) Diverse and compelling content, (3) Demographics matter, (4) Each to their own.
Conclusions: There is the potential for social media to help promote road safety messages. Therefore, these findings have important implications for road safety messaging strategies and future research.
Practical Applications: Future research could benefit by exploring ways to increase exposure to online material promoting road safety and determining which social media platforms are more likely to promote road safety material, with consideration to online algorithms.

Costameres are essential for maintaining the integrity of muscle fibers, which affects the meat tenderness. To explore the pattern of alteration in costameres after slaughter, this study investigated the distribution of costamere proteins (desmin, talin-2, vinculin, and integrin β1), their impact on tenderness, and the involved enzymes. Western blot analysis showed that talin-2 significantly degraded in postmortem, while integrin β1 significantly increased at 48 h ( < 0.

Objective: To explore Canadian clinical veterinarians' perspectives of occupational stressors. Although extant research has emphasized quantitative reporting of workplace stressors in veterinary medicine, a qualitative approach can lend depth and context.
Procedure: One-on-one interviews were conducted with 25 veterinarians at the 2016 Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Conference.

Background: Early treatment is critical to improve eating disorder prognosis. Single session interventions have been proposed as a strategy to provide short term support to people on waitlists for eating disorder treatment, however, it is not always possible to access this early intervention. Conversational artificial intelligence agents or "chatbots" reflect a unique opportunity to attempt to fill this gap in service provision.

Background: This meta-analysis aimed to pool the existing evidence to determine the clinical efficacy and safety of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) in patients with non-unions.
Methods: A systematic search in PubMed and Scopus was performed until October 2024 to gather pertinent studies. The inclusion criteria included participants with non-unions, the intervention of MSC administration, a comparator of standard treatment (bone graft), and outcomes focused on healing rate, healing time, or side effects.

Background: Within public health, media advocacy embraces the influence of new media and journalists in setting public agendas and promoting important public health programming and policies. Though occupational health and safety (OSH) is an important component of public health, few studies have examined the use of media advocacy within this specific field. This study aims to examine how media is currently used to support OSH efforts as well as opportunities for engaging with this strategy.
