Introduction: Integrating systems thinking, which emphasizes recognizing interconnections, gaining diverse perspectives and considering the big picture, can enhance curricula and better prepare practitioners. Despite its benefit and growing support, systems thinking is not yet a required part of dietetics accreditation or entry-level practice. This qualitative study sought to understand educators' views on incorporating systems thinking into nutrition and dietetics education.

Introduction: Children with brain-based visual impairments (some of whom have a diagnosis of Cerebral Visual Impairment, or 'CVI') represent a growing and underserved population within vision services. These children often have more complex needs than those with ocular visual impairments and benefit from specialist support from multiple disciplines. This study aimed to understand the perspectives of these specialists in terms of their goals, views on collaboration, and understanding of the term 'CVI'.

This perspective explores the multifaceted development challenges related to road network expansion in sub-Saharan Africa, where recent infrastructure investments reflect transformative ambitions but also imply socio-ecological tradeoffs. Roads can boost economic growth by facilitating trade, tourism, and access to essential services, yet they simultaneously contribute to ecosystem fragmentation, biodiversity loss, and human-wildlife conflicts. Looking at the history of Africa's road development, we find that mega-projects-often funded by international donors-reshape political and economic landscapes while altering rural livelihoods and ecosystems.

Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia, share significant genetic, epigenetic, and phenotypic overlap, manifesting as dimensional psychopathology and convergent neuroimaging findings. These shared features have led to various models exploring common underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, including excitatory-inhibitory imbalance, the triple network model, network analysis, and social disconnection. While these models offer valuable insights, a unifying framework remains elusive.

: This study aimed to determine the initial clinical characteristics of children diagnosed with intentional head trauma (IHT) to obtain information about the long-term developmental, psychological, and psychosocial status of these children, to detect delayed sequelae, and to find out information about their judicial processes. : Fourteen children who were followed up with the diagnosis of IHT in the Ankara Child Protection Unit between 2010 and 2021 were included in the study. These cases were evaluated in terms of physical, developmental, psychological, and visual findings.
