Purpose: To report on an interesting case of fungal endogenous endophthalmitis in a patient that was referred in for acute angle closure. A unique presentation with a novel pathogen, Ramularia, identified on vitreous sampling.

Methods: Case report.

Results: This report describes a patient referred for presumed angle closure with a painful red left eye, an intraocular pressure of 39mmHg and perception to light vision. Ramularia species DNA - a novel fungus, was identified on PCR from sterile vitreous sampling during subsequent vitrectomy, performed due to worsening vision. Following vitrectomy, the patient improved with topical voriconazole and oral posaconazole which was second line therapy after oral voriconazole caused hepatoxicity. The patient had a good visual outcome with a final visual acuity of 20/50, 18 months post presentation.

Conclusion: This case highlights the unique presentation, treatment, and good outcome of a patient with endogenous endophthalmitis from a novel fungus, Ramularia.

Objective: This finite element analysis study aims to evaluate the effects of restoring 1 mm and 2 mm diastemas in maxillary anterior incisors with different CAD-CAM materials on stress distribution and to compare full crown and laminate veneer restorations.

Materials And Methods: Maxillary anterior tooth models simulating laminate veneer and full crown restorations were created. The experimental groups were categorized into four based on diastema width (1 mm and 2 mm) and CAD-CAM materials.

Purpose: To report the 2-year effective and safety profile of integrated phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation (PEI), goniosynechialysis (GSL) and 120° goniotomy (GT) in advanced primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) and cataracts.

Design: Multicentre prospective study.

Methods: 201 eyes of 196 patients who received combined PEI+GSL+ GT were assessed at baseline and re-evaluated at days 1, 7, and at 1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months postsurgery.

Purpose: This study investigated the correlation between iridotrabecular contact (ITC) and clinical-anatomical parameters in patients with primary angle closure disease (PACD) based on anterior segment imaging data obtained via swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT).

Material And Methods: The study analyzed data from 92 patients aged 32-89 years, including 56 patients with PACD (43 phakic and 13 pseudophakic) and 36 control group participants (21 phakic and 15 pseudophakic). All participants underwent SS-OCT imaging of the anterior segment, including measurements of the ITC index and ITC area.
