Mid-infrared (Mid-IR) photodetection and imaging are pivotal across diverse applications, including remote sensing, communication, and spectral analysis. Among these, single-pixel imaging technology is distinguished by its exceptional sensitivity, high resolution attainable through the sampling system, and economic efficiency. The quality of single-pixel imaging primarily depends on the performance of the photodetector and the sampling system. Photodetectors based on black phosphorus (BP) exhibit low dark current, high specific detectivity ( ), and room-temperature operability. Artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted sampling systems feature efficient and intelligent data reconstruction capabilities. In this work, we demonstrate an AI-driven black phosphorus (BP)/molybdenum disulfide (MoS)/hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) heterojunction for Mid-IR photodetection and imaging. By optimizing the thickness of the heterojunction, the quality of the interface, and the AI algorithm, we achieved high-performance Mid-IR photodetection and imaging. Specifically, the photodetector has a responsivity of 0.25 A/W at a wavelength of 3,390 nm, an extremely high of 3.7 × 10 Jones, a response speed as low as 7 ms, and after AI optimization, the image contrast ratio has been improved from 0.227 to 0.890. At the same time, the sampling rate requirement can be reduced to 25 %. Our research indicates that the efficient combination of BP heterojunction photodetectors and AI technology is expected to accelerate the development of Mid-IR photodetectors and imaging systems.

Easily accessible dichloroarsanes are suitable precursors for the synthesis of rarely explored triazaarsoles, the arsenic analogues of tetrazoles and triazaphospholes. Calculations on the DFT level gave insight into the electronic structure of such planar compounds, indicating a high degree of aromaticity. Our preliminary investigations pave the way for accessing and investigating a whole variety of new heterocycles, that contain a low-coordinated arsenic atom.

Phosphorus is considered an ideal anode material for lithium ion storage by virtue of its high theoretical capacity and moderate lithiation potential. However, issues such as large volume expansion of phosphorus leading to an electrical loss of contact and instability of the solid electrolyte interface hinder its practical performance. Improvement strategies that can effectively suppress volume expansion and provide stable electrical contacts are urgently needed.

Purpose: Conflicting results have been reported on dietary factors in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). Here, we compared the dietary intakes of IBD patients with those of paired healthy relatives (HRs), aiming to minimize the impact of genetic and environmental confounders.
Methods: Patients with Crohn's disease (CD, N = 45) and ulcerative colitis (UC, N = 20), their paired HRs (N = 45, N = 20) and healthy non-relative (HNR, N = 25, N = 55) controls were recruited.

Tobacco bacterial wilt (TBW), caused by Ralstonia solanacearum, significantly impacts tobacco yield and quality, leading to substantial economic losses. This study investigated the effects of the microbial agents JX (Pichia sp. J1 and Klebsiella oxytoca ZS4) on the soil properties, rhizospheric microbial community, tobacco agronomic traits, and TBW incidence through field experiments.

Bacteria and Archaea are microorganisms that play key roles in the biogeochemical transformations that control water quality in freshwater ecosystems, such as in reservoirs. In this study, we characterize the prokaryotic community of a high-relevance tropical eutrophic reservoir using a 16S rRNA gene survey during a low-water level fluctuation period mainly used for storage, associating the distribution of these microorganisms with the hydrogeochemical conditions of the water column. Our findings revealed that diversity and structure of the prokaryotic community exhibited spatio-temporal variations driven by the annual circulation-stratification hydrodynamic cycle and are significantly correlated with the concentrations of dissolved oxygen (DO), soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP), and dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN).
