Background: Chondrosarcoma accounts for 20% of all bone sarcomas and may present with soft tissue extension. The presence of an extraosseous component, along with positive surgical margins, independently have been associated with increased risk of local recurrence and decreased survival. The purpose of this investigation is to describe the treatment and outcomes of six chondrosarcoma patients who presented with chondrosarcoma with soft tissue extension along with positive surgical margins post negative en bloc resection.

Dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS) is a subtype of LPS characterized by two distinct levels of differentiation and morphological structures, comprising areas of well-differentiated LPS and dedifferentiated, non-lipogenic, highly malignant components. DDLPS most frequently occurs in the retroperitoneum and the soft tissues of the pelvis and limbs, and is rare in the head and neck region, accounting for only 1% of head and neck sarcomas. The present study describes the case of a 72-year-old male with a 30-year history of left upper limb numbness and heaviness.

Pelvic masses can represent various etiologies, including gynecologic and non-gynecologic conditions. As discussed in this paper, among all pathologies, intraabdominal dissemination of an extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (ESMC) presenting as a pelvic mass is a rare condition. The case is a 58-year-old woman with a history of soft tissue sarcoma who presented to the gynecologic oncology department with a pelvic mass and was operated on with the suspicion of mucinous ovarian cancer.

Background: Chondrosarcoma is the second most common bone malignancy. Chondrosarcoma is considered a surgical disease, and the role of surgical margin is important since local recurrence is known to decrease survival. The aim of this study was to investigate the timing of local recurrence and the size of local recurrence in post local recurrence survival in chondrosarcoma.
