Subjective variability in human interpretation of diagnostic imaging presents significant clinical limitations, potentially resulting in diagnostic errors and increased healthcare costs. While artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms offer promising solutions to reduce interpreter subjectivity, they frequently demonstrate poor generalizability across different healthcare settings. To address these issues, we introduce Retrieval Augmented Medical Diagnosis System (RAMDS), which integrates an AI classification model with a similar image model.

Computational approaches can provide details of molecular mechanisms in a crowded environment inside cells. Protein docking predicts stable configurations of molecular complexes, which correspond to deep energy minima. Systematic docking approaches, such as those based on fast Fourier transform (FFT), also map the entire intermolecular energy landscape by determining the position and depth of the full spectrum of the energy minima.

Understanding mold flux crystallization is essential for assessing heat transfer during steel casting. The complexity of the mold gap presents challenges in identifying the optimal testing method and nucleation type. This study investigates how variations in wetting properties influence nucleation dynamics, in particular the wetting behaviors of mold flux in platinum and graphite crucibles and how they affect crystallization temperatures and solidification mechanisms.

Humulones are a family of homolog natural products obtained from the strobiles of humulus lupulus, or hops plants. Structurally, they consist of substituted phloroglucinols with two isoprenyl side chains, a carbonyl group and a quaternary ring carbon substituted with a hydroxyl group. The three most prominent homologs are n-, co- and ad-humulone, containing isobutyl, isopropyl and secbutyl ketone groups, respectively.

This updated Heart Valve Collaboratory framework addresses the growing concern for transcatheter valve failure (TVF) following transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). With the increasing volume of redo-TAV and surgical TAV explantation, there is a critical need for standardized pathways and protocols for evaluating TVF using echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography (CT) angiography. This document clarifies prior definitions of bioprosthetic valve deterioration and bioprosthetic valve failure in a practical, imaging directed context for TAVR.
