Solid oxide cell technologies play a crucial role in climate change mitigation by enabling the reversible storage of renewable energy. Understanding the electrochemical high-temperature reaction mechanisms and the catalytic role of the electrode and electrolyte materials is essential for advancing power-to-H technologies. Despite its significance, limited spectroscopic research focusing on nickel and yttria-stabilized zirconia (Ni/YSZ) is available.

Growing evidence suggests an association between various immune cell phenotypes and the development of asthma. However, it is still not entirely clear whether specific immune cell phenotypes might causally contribute to the risk of asthma. Despite further studies required to validate this claim, our study delves deeper into explaining this relationship and paving the way toward new therapeutic approaches.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Even while receiving adequate pharmacological treatment for their hypertension, people are nonetheless at greater risk for cardiovascular disease. There is growing evidence that the gut microbiota may have major positive and negative effects on blood pressure and illnesses related with it as more study into this topic is conducted.

Leaf water loss after stomatal closure is key to understanding the effects of prolonged drought on vegetation. It is therefore important to accurately quantify such water losses to improve physiology-based models of drought-induced plant mortality. We measured water loss of detached leaves continuously during dehydration in nine woody angiosperm species.
