Nanozymes are a class of nanomaterials that exhibit catalytic functions analogous to those of natural enzymes. They demonstrate considerable promise in the biomedical field, particularly in the treatment of bone infections, due to their distinctive physicochemical properties and adjustable catalytic activities. Bone infections (e.g., periprosthetic infections and osteomyelitis) are infections that are challenging to treat clinically. Traditional treatments often encounter issues related to drug resistance and suboptimal anti-infection outcomes. The advent of nanozymes has brought with it a new avenue of hope for the treatment of bone infections.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effects of miR-374-5p on osteogenesis in rat osteoblasts, validate its target on PTEN, and explore its role in the PTEN/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway during osteoblast differentiation.
Methods: We transfected 293T cells with miR-374-5p mimics and inhibitors, followed by Western blot and qRT-PCR analyses to assess protein and mRNA expression levels. A dual-luciferase assay was performed to confirm direct targeting.

Treatment of Burkitt Lymphoma/Leukemia (BL/L) in adults has evolved from the use of pediatric inspired regimens (CODOX-M/IVAC, hyper-CVAD, GMALL) to the use of lower intensity EPOCH regimens. The addition of rituximab has led to improvements in overall survival. Survival with these regimens in the real world was shown to be inferior as compared to those found in the prospective trials.
