Objective: This meta-analysis evaluates the efficacy and safety of various topical dosage forms of diclofenac (gel, solution, and patch) for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials evaluating topical diclofenac formulations in knee osteoarthritis patients. Data on pain relief, functional outcomes, and adverse events were extracted.

Despite the availability of various local analgesia methods to alleviate needle-associated pain, the most effective approach remains unknown. Background: Metal hypersensitivity in Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) continues to intrigue surgeons and researchers, with significant limitation of allergy tests due to the absence of clear cut-offs for a definitive diagnosis and their limited diffusion worldwide. We analyzed the literature to compare clinical outcomes in patients with metal hypersensitivity undergoing hypoallergenic knee arthroplasties and subjects without metal allergy undergoing standard knee arthroplasties.
Methods: This review adhered to PRISMA guidelines.
