Introduction: Congenital heart disease (CHD) affects 1 % of all live births globally, with critical CHD (CCHD) requiring early intervention to avoid neonatal mortality. To date, CHD-related mortality within the first year of life and its associated factors have not been studied in Peru.
Methods: This is an observational secondary analysis using the Peruvian National Computerized System of Deaths, data from 2017 to 2021.

Psoriasis is consistently associated with an elevated cardiovascular risk. However, biochemical parameters are needed to predict cardiovascular events in these patients. Therefore, we conducted a retrospective cohort study with psoriatic patients undergoing systemic treatment to analyze the value of the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index in predicting the development of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE).

Fontan-Associated Liver Disease (FALD) is a dramatically emerging problem even if not precisely defined in term of debated diagnosis and surveillance protocols. We analyze FALD prevalence, clinical impact and implications in a European cohort of patients. It's a retrospective observational multicenter study including Fontan patients operated between 1990 and 2022.
