Climate change, driven by greenhouse gas emissions, has emerged as a pressing global ecological and environmental challenge. Our study is dedicated to exploring the various factors influencing greenhouse gas emissions from animal husbandry and predicting their future trends. To this end, we have analyzed data from China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region spanning from 1978 to 2022, aiming to estimate the carbon emissions associated with animal husbandry in the region.

Inspired by the "Salvinia effect", a novel method for fabricating a magneto-responsive superhydrophobic surface coated with a cluster-distributed cilia array (CC-MRSS) was reported. This surface features a magnetically self-assembled nonuniform microcilia array and demonstrates exceptional microdroplet hydrophobicity, magnetic-responsive wettability, and corrosion resistance. The fabrication process involved mixing polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and carbonyl iron powders (CIPs), followed by dividing the mixture into two parts.

Introduction: The number of babies, children and young people with complex care needs (henceforth children with complex care needs (CCCN)) in England has increased in recent decades, and this has also been recognised globally. CCCN may have frequent and lengthy hospital admissions, but during these episodes, their needs are not always met, potentially resulting in suboptimal experiences and outcomes. Despite increased numbers of CCCN accessing acute care and displaying greater complexity, much of the contemporary literature has focused on primary care coordination between health, education and social care.

DFT-assisted machine learning for polyester membrane design in textile wastewater recovery applications.

Resource recovery from textile wastewater has attracted increasing interest because it simultaneously addresses wastewater treatment and maximizes the utilization of the residual dyes. Although polyester membranes have demonstrated great potential for textile wastewater recovery, tailoring high-performance polyester membranes remains a multidimensional challenge because of the complex nonlinear relationships between the membrane materials and their performance. Here we developed density functional theory (DFT)-assisted machine learning models that integrates DFT descriptors with fabrication and operation parameters to facilitate the generative design of polyester membranes.
