Amongst Ewing sarcoma family of tumours, (EFST), cutaneous/subcutaneous Ewing sarcoma are defined as tumours arising from cutaneous or subcutaneous tissue, not invading the underlying aponeurosis. They are rare tumours, with less than 200 patients published. They are typically small tumours (less than 5cm), and can arise at any anatomical location, with a particular tropism for distal, truncal and head/neck locations, compared to classical Ewing sarcoma.

Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD), is a rare avascular osteonecrosis of the proximal femur usually occurring in children between 5 and 10 years of age. The cause of ischemia leading to necrosis of the femoral head remains unknown. However, post-procedural complications may arise, influenced by anatomical positioning and the intensity of ablation energy, with atrioesophageal fistula (AEF) being particularly rare yet severe. This case report describes a unique instance of a patient developing AEF following AF ablation, accompanied by ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction.
