AI Article Synopsis

  • The text discusses a hemotrophic mycoplasma closely related to another species that is highly host-adapted and uncultivable.
  • The genome of strain 117C has been sequenced using advanced technology from Pacific Biosciences, specifically single-molecule, real-time sequencing.
  • This genome is structured as a single circular chromosome that is completely gapless and measures 1,034 kilobases in length.

Article Abstract

is one of the closest relatives of the highly host-adapted and uncultivable hemotrophic mycoplasma. The complete genome of strain 117C was constructed from long-reads derived from Pacific Biosciences single-molecule, real-time sequencing technology. The genome is organized into one circular, gapless chromosome with a length of 1,034 kb.
