Objective: This study aimed to examine the impact of social presence on Chinese reading comprehension and associated neural responses.
Methods: Participants tasked with reading Chinese sentences either alone or in the presence of others and subsequently assessing the accuracy of the sentences' meanings. Concurrently, we recorded the participants' electrical brain responses to critical word processing.

This study investigated the influence of parents' Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) responses prior to the birth of a first child, on self-reported mental health symptoms of the first-born child in mid-adolescence. The sample comprised 51 first-born children aged 16 years, their mothers and fathers from a low-risk community urban sample, White, British and 70% middle class. AMothers' responses to the AAI were the strongest predictor of their adolescent children's self-reported mental health symptoms.

Introduction: Overall childbirth experience scores are used both in research and in clinical settings. Since it is still not fully understood what assessment of childbirth experience on a single-item numeric rating scale or visual analog scale represents, the aim of this study was to explore women's reasoning and thoughts when rating overall childbirth experience numerically.
Material And Methods: A qualitative interview study of 26 women was conducted using a think-aloud technique at a university referral hospital in Sweden.

Argonaute proteins are categorized into AGO and PIWI clades. Across most animal species, AGO-clade proteins are widely expressed in various cell types, and regulate normal gene expression. By employing two sets of dual-comb spectrometers, high-resolution time-resolved spectra of HO2 and HCl, formed in the photolysis reaction system of Cl2/CH3OH/O2, could be, respectively, measured near 1123 and 3059 cm-1. With kinetic simulations, spectral analysis of both HO2 and HCl, as well as the accurate line strength of the HCl R(9) transition at 3059.
