Sensor selection is a vital part of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) management. This becomes of increased importance when considering the use of low-cost, bearing-only sensor nodes for the tracking of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). However, traditional techniques commonly form excessively large sensor clusters, which result in the collection of redundant information, which can deteriorate performance while also increasing the associated network costs. Therefore, this work combines a predictive posterior distribution methodology with a novel simplified objective function for optimally identifying and forming smaller sensor clusters before activation and measurement collection. The goal of the proposed objective function is to reduce network communication and computation costs while still maintaining the tracking performance of using far more sensors. The developed optimisation algorithm results in reducing the size of selected sensor clusters by an average of 50% while still maintaining the tracking performance of general traditional techniques.

The concentration of S is a vital environmental indicator for evaluating the quality of source water, surface water, and wastewater, and it has a significant impact on biological systems, particularly human health. Therefore, it is crucial to detect S selectively and sensitively. In this study, we developed a simple and rapid one-pot method to prepare a gold nanocluster (BSA-AuNCs) probe for fluorescence-enhanced detection of S toxemia and analyzed the morphological characteristics of BSA-AuNCs and its complex with S using various characterization techniques.

Molecular Property Prediction (MPP) is a fundamental task in important research fields such as chemistry, materials, biology, and medicine, where traditional computational chemistry methods based on quantum mechanics often consume substantial time and computing power. In recent years, machine learning has been increasingly used in computational chemistry, in which graph neural networks have shown good performance in molecular property prediction tasks, but they have some limitations in terms of generalizability, interpretability, and certainty. In order to address the above challenges, a Multiscale Molecular Structural Neural Network (MMSNet) is proposed in this paper, which obtains rich multiscale molecular representations through the information fusion between bonded and non-bonded "message passing" structures at the atomic scale and spatial feature information "encoder-decoder" structures at the molecular scale; a multi-level attention mechanism is introduced on the basis of theoretical analysis of molecular mechanics in order to enhance the model's interpretability; the prediction results of MMSNet are used as label values and clustered in the molecular library by the K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbors) algorithm to reverse match the spatial structure of the molecules, and the certainty of the model is quantified by comparing virtual screening results across different K-values.

As advancements in autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) technology unfold, the role of underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) is becoming increasingly pivotal. However, the high energy consumption in these networks can significantly reduce their operational lifespan, while latency issues can impair overall network performance. To address these challenges, a novel mixed packet forwarding strategy is developed, which incorporates a wakeup threshold and a dynamically adjusted access probability for the cluster head (CH).

The multi-sensor fusion, such as LiDAR and camera-based 3D object detection, is a key technology in autonomous driving and robotics. However, traditional 3D detection models are limited to recognizing predefined categories and struggle with unknown or novel objects. Given the complexity of real-world environments, research into open-vocabulary 3D object detection is essential.

Intelligent unmanned clusters have played a crucial role in military reconnaissance, disaster rescue, border patrol, and other domains. Nevertheless, due to factors such as multipath propagation, electromagnetic interference, and frequency band congestion in high dynamic scenarios, unmanned cluster networks experience frequent topology changes and severe spectrum limitations, which hinder the provision of connected, elastic and autonomous network support for data interaction among unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) nodes. To address the conflict between the demand for reliable data transmission and the limited network resources, this paper proposes an AODV routing protocol based on node energy consumption and mobility optimization (AODV-EM) from the perspective of network routing protocols.
