The shape design and optimization of complex disk curves is a crucial and intractable technique in computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM). Based on disk Wang-Ball (DWB) curves, this paper defines a novel combined disk Wang-Ball (CDWB) curve with constrained parameters and investigates the shape optimization of CDWB curves by using the multi-strategy ameliorated chameleon swarm algorithm (MCSA). Firstly, in order to meet the various shape design requirements, the CDWB curves consisting of DWB curves are defined, and the G and G geometric continuity conditions for the curves are derived. Secondly, the shape optimization of CDWB curves is considered as a minimization problem with curve energy as the objective, and an optimization model is developed under the constraints of the splicing conditions. Finally, the meta-heuristic algorithm MCSA is introduced to solve the established optimization model to obtain the minimum energy value, and its performance is verified by comparison with other algorithms. The results of representative numerical examples confirm the effectiveness and competitiveness of the MCSA for the CDWB curve shape optimization problems.

Several mechanisms were postulated to reduce drilling problems, improve hole cleaning characteristics, and keep the bit in good condition for the second usage. This study was conducted on Majnoon Field in southeastern Iraq to optimize the bit and drilling parameters. The results indicated that the 16" SFD75D bit proved the preferred bit for both vertical and deviated wells due to its directional capabilities.

Technetium-99m plays a pivotal role in nuclear medicine, offering unique IMAGING capabilities due to its favorable physical and chemical properties. This study investigates the redox behavior and electronic structures of three representative Tc(V) oxo complexes, [TcO(HMPAO)], [TcO(Bicisate)], and [TcO(DMSA)], using computational techniques. Employing relativistic density functional theory with the Zero-Order Regular Approximation (ZORA), we analyze singlet-triplet energy gaps, Gibbs free energy changes, and redox potentials in neutral and acidic environments.

Objective: The bare area is defined as a transverse region within the trochlear notch, serving as an optimal entry point for olecranon osteotomy due to the absence of articular cartilage coverage. However, there is limited research on the morphology and location of the bare area, and there is a lack of intuitive visual description. Thus, the purpose of this study is to delineate anatomical features of the bare area and visualize its morphology and refine the olecranon osteotomy approach.

Motivated by increasingly strengthened market-based environmental regulations, enterprises intend to pursue both pollution reduction and competitive edge through developing green innovation. Although the volume of green innovation has increased substantially, some of them are not successfully commercialized to pay rewards for enterprises. Hence, how market-based environmental regulations affect enterprise green innovation commercialization is urgently to be explored.

Heparin concentration c in a blood extracorporeal circulation has been real-timely predicted based on the relaxation strength Δε at relaxation frequency f extracted by relaxation time distribution (RTD). The simulated extracorporeal circulation was conducted to optimize the number of Δε for the prediction of c using the porcine whole blood (WB) and low-leukocyte and -platelet blood (LLPB) under the condition of the gradual increment of c from 0 to 8 U/mL with constant flow rate and blood temperature. The experimental results show that among the three relaxation strengths Δε, Δε and Δε (in ascending order of frequency), Δε at f = 5.
