The concurrent evolution of value-added benzimidazole compounds and hydrogen within the domain of chemical synthesis is of paramount importance. The utilization of photocatalysis enhances both the efficiency and environmental benignity of the synthetic process. However, it is profoundly challenging within a photocatalytic system to simultaneously augment the number of active sites and the internal transport rate of photogenerated charge carriers.

Avoiding prostate bed radiation for the PSMA-PET detected nodal recurrence patient post prostatectomy.

Clin Transl Radiat Oncol

January 2025

Northern Sydney Cancer Centre, Radiation Oncology Unit, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Background: Nodal only recurrence post radical prostatectomy (RP) is increasingly recognised in the PSMA scan era. Management is controversial with a curative approach usually incorporating prostate bed and nodal irradiation (PB + NRT) in combination with long-term hormonal therapy. It is unknown whether omitting prostate-bed irradiation (PBRT) is safe in a subgroup of these patients.

Background: Intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) and subclonal antigen expression blunt antitumor immunity and are associated with poor responses to immune-checkpoint blockade immunotherapy (ICB) in patients with cancer. The underlying mechanisms however thus far remained elusive, preventing the design of novel treatment approaches for patients with high ITH tumors.

Methods: We developed a mouse model of lung adenocarcinoma with defined expression of different neoantigens (NeoAg), enabling us to analyze how these impact antitumor T-cell immunity and to study underlying mechanisms.

Objective: To evaluate adherence to treatment guideline recommendations across the continuum of prostate cancer (PCa) care by US community urologists using several PCa-specific performance indicators (PIs). Additionally, to determine which practice-related factors, such as having a designated PCa patient champion, active patient management in a patient portal, and in-office dispensing of medications, were associated with improved PI performance.

Methods: Electronic medical record data were collected retrospectively from the PPS Analytics Patient Population Health Management Platform.
