Background: The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a comprehensive care model that aims to promote aging in the home and community for older adults who are nursing-home eligible needs-wise. Older adults experience age-related barriers to accessing behavioral health (BH) services. PACE programs play an important role in providing all-inclusive health care for individuals over 55 who are dually eligible for Medicaid and Medicare.

The age-friendly approach ensures older adults receive care that optimizes their well-being, particularly through episodes of illness and at end-of-life. Geriatric clinical quality organizations, including NICHE, establish age-friendly standards and provide education and implementation resources to healthcare organizations. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will require organizations participating in the inpatient prospective payment system and the long-term care hospital payment system to submit data about compliance with the Age-Friendly Measure starting in 2025.

Background: Accumulating evidence suggests that the radiographic phenotypes of patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA) often do not correlate with their clinical findings, which are the primary reason for seeking medical care. Therefore, at OARSI 2024, we proposed a clinical finding staging system-Chinese medicine staging (CMS)-to guide the treatment of KOA. However, the clinical effectiveness and application characteristics of CMS in guiding non-surgical treatment of KOA remain unclear.

Background: While COVID-19 vaccination has been shown to reduce the risk of severe illness, its impact on the occurrence of persistent symptoms in patients with mild Omicron infection remains uncertain. Our objective was to investigate whether COVID-19 vaccination reduces the occurrence of persistent COVID-19-related symptoms 3 months after mild Omicron infection.
Methods: Multicenter prospective cohort study was conducted in Brazil between January 2022 and June 2023 when Omicron was predominant.
