Background And Study Aim: Local resection of early rectal cancer is being increasingly used. With invasion of the muscularis propria layer of the rectal wall, the risk of lymph node metastasis becomes too high to consider this the optimal oncological treatment. Therefore, a diagnosis of muscular invasion is important before attempting local resection; however, endoscopic and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images have limitations, such as overstaging (26-31%).

Magnetically confined fusion plasmas are subject to various instabilities that cause turbulent transport of particles and heat across the magnetic field. In the edge plasma region, this transport takes the form of long filaments stretched along the magnetic field lines. Understanding the dynamics of these filaments, referred to as blobs, is crucial for predicting and controlling their impact on reactor performance.

From an early age, people are exposed to risk factors that can lead to musculoskeletal disorders like low back pain, neck pain and scoliosis. Medical screenings at an early age might minimize their incidence. The study intends to improve a software that processes images of patients, using specific anatomical sites to obtain risk indicators for possible musculoskeletal problems.
