The reaction of the diborabenzene (DBB) nickel(0) pogo-stick complex [(η-DBB)Ni(CO)] () with a large excess of [Ni(CO)] yields the dark green, unstable dinickel(0) complex [(η-DBB)Ni(μ-CO)Ni(CO)] (), which loses one CO ligand to yield the purple, bimetallic Ni half-sandwich complex [(η-DBB)Ni(μ-CO)(η-CO)] (). The addition of the chromium aminoborylene complex [(OC)Cr{BN(TMS)}] (TMS = trimethylsilyl) to does not result in the expected borylene transfer but in the formation of the black Ni-Cr complex [(η-DBB)Ni(μ-CO)Cr(CO)] (), alongside the dimeric iminoborane [(TMS)BN(TMS)] (), which results from the rearrangement of the released BN(TMS) aminoborylene moiety. Furthermore, the oxidative addition of methyl triflate (MeOTf) to leaves the (η-DBB)Ni moiety intact and provides the ionic Ni half-sandwich complex [(η-DBB)NiMe(CO)]OTf (), while reaction with pentaphenylborole (PPB) yields the unique, dark-blue, unsymmetrical sandwich complex [(η-DBB)Ni(μ-CO)(η-PPB)] (). DFT calculations point toward being a dinickel(0) complex with a neutral aromatic DBB and a neutral antiaromatic PPB ligand.

Background: Beyond physical health, managing type 1 diabetes (T1D) also encompasses a psychological component, including diabetes distress, that is, the worries, fears, and frustrations associated with meeting self-care demands over the lifetime. While digital health solutions have been increasingly used to address emotional health in diabetes, these technologies may not uniformly meet the unique concerns and technological savvy across all age groups.
Objective: This study aimed to explore the mental health needs of adolescents with T1D, determine their preferred modalities for app-based mental health support, and identify desirable design features for peer-delivered mental health support modeled on an app designed for adults with T1D.

Background: Adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cystic fibrosis (CF) are at risk for deviating from their daily treatment regimen due to significant time burden, complicated daily therapies, and life stressors. Developing patient-centric, effective, engaging, and practical behavioral interventions is vital to help sustain therapeutically meaningful self-management.
Objective: This study aimed to devise and refine a patient-centered telecoaching intervention to foster self-management in AYA with CF using a combination of intervention development approaches, including an evidence- and theory-based approach (ie, applying existing theories and research evidence for behavior change) and a target population-centered approach (ie, intervention refinement based on the perspectives and actions of those individuals who will use it).

Background: Digital mental health interventions (DMHIs) to monitor and improve the health of people with psychosis or bipolar disorder show promise; however, user engagement is variable, and integrated clinical use is low.
Objective: This prospectively registered systematic review examined barriers and facilitators of clinician and patient engagement with DMHIs, to inform implementation within real-world settings.
Methods: A systematic search of 7 databases identified empirical studies reporting qualitative or quantitative data about factors affecting staff or patient engagement with DMHIs aiming to monitor or improve the mental or physical health of people with psychosis or bipolar disorder.
The Canadian Genomics Research and Development Initiative for Antimicrobial Resistance (GRDI-AMR) uses a genomics-based approach to understand how health care, food production and the environment contribute to the development of antimicrobial resistance. Integrating genomics contextual data streams across the One Health continuum is challenging because of the diversity in data scope, content and structure. To better enable data harmonization for analyses, a contextual data standard was developed.
