Interocclusal records (IORs) created with bite registration materials (BRMs) accurately reflect the opposing teeth's physiological and anatomical associations in digital and traditional dentistry. This study assessed the linear dimensional accuracy of vinyl polysiloxane-based scannable and transparent BRMs over obligatory clinical time intervals (1, 24, 72, and 168 h/s). A total of 3 scannable [Flexitime Bite, Occlufast CAD, Virtual CADBite] and 3 transparent [Maxill Bite, Charmflex Bite, Defend ClearBite] VPS-based BRMs were divided into 28 subgroups by time interval: 1, 24, 72, and 168 h/s.

Federated Learning (FL) is an efficient, distributed machine learning paradigm that enables multiple clients to jointly train high-performance deep learning models while maintaining training data locally. However, due to its distributed computing nature, malicious clients can manipulate the prediction of the trained model through backdoor attacks. Existing defense methods require significant computational and communication overhead during the training or testing phases, limiting their practicality in resource-constrained scenarios and being unsuitable for the Non-IID data distribution typical in general FL scenarios.

Introduction: In this study we aimed to identify behaviours representative of agentic engagement in pre-clinical medical education problem-based learning (PBL) groups. Agentic engagement is defined as the proactive, intentional contributions students make to their flow of instruction. This concept, developed in secondary education, appears relevant for benefitting optimally from PBL in higher medical education.

Despite its prevalence today, the practice of purely performative resuscitation (PPR)-paradigmatically, the "slow code"-has attracted more critics in bioethics than defenders. The most common criticism of the slow code is that it's fundamentally deceptive or harmful, while the most common justification offered is that it may benefit the patient's loved ones, by symbolically honoring the patient or the care team's relationship with the family. I argue that critics and defenders of the slow code each have a point.
