InSb is a material of choice for infrared as well as spintronic devices but its integration on large lattice mismatched semi-insulating III-V substrates has so far altered its exceptional properties. Here, we investigate the direct growth of InSb on InP(111)substrates with molecular beam epitaxy. Despite the lack of a thick metamorphic buffer layer for accommodation, we show that quasi-continuous thin films can be grown using a very high Sb/In flux ratio. The quality of the films is further studied with Hall measurements on large-scale devices to assess the impact of the InSb surface and InSb/InP interface on the electronic properties. Taking advantage of the optimized growth conditions for the formation of thin films, the selective area molecular beam epitaxial growth of nanostructures is subsequently investigated. Based on cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy and scanning near-field optical microscopy in the middle-wave infrared, ultra-thin and very long in-plane InSb nanowires as well as more complex nanostructures such as nano-rings and crosses are achieved with a good structural quality.

Since water is both a product and a common reactant impurity in the (partial) methanol oxidation to methyl formate (MeFo) on gold, its effect on the isothermal selectivity to methyl formate was investigated under well-defined single-collision conditions employing pulsed molecular beam experiments and in situ IRAS measurements. Both a flat Au(111) and a stepped Au(332) surface were used as model catalysts to elucidate how water affects the reactivity of low-coordinated step sites as compared to (111) terrace sites employing a range of reaction conditions. The interactions of water with methanol/methoxy as well as with oxygen species are addressed.

Institut Curie, Université PSL, CNRS UMR3347, Inserm U1021, Signalisation Radiobiologie et Cancer, Orsay, France.

Background: Breast cancer is the leading cause of female cancer mortality worldwide, accounting for 1 in 6 cancer deaths. Surgery, radiation, and systemic therapy are the three pillars of breast cancer treatment, with several strategies developed to combine them. The association of preoperative radiotherapy with immunotherapy may improve breast cancer tumor control by exploiting the tumor radio-induced immune priming.

This study aimed to develop and evaluate a novel fibroblast activation protein (FAP)-specific tracer, fluorine-18-labeled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor-FUSCC-07 ([F]F-FAPI-FUSCC-07), for use in both preclinical and clinical settings. Preclinical evaluations were conducted to assess the stability and partition coefficient of [F]F-FAPI-FUSCC-07. Experiments involving human glioma U87MG cells demonstrated its cellular uptake and inhibitory properties.

Zinc nitride (ZnN) comprises earth-abundant elements, possesses a small direct bandgap, and is characterized by high electron mobility. While these characteristics make the material a promising compound semiconductor for various optoelectronic applications, including photovoltaics and thin-film transistors, it commonly exhibits unintentional degenerate n-type conductivity. This degenerate character has significantly impeded the development of ZnN for technological applications and is commonly assumed to arise from incorporation of oxygen impurities.
