Background: Diastasis recti abdominis (DRA), commonly occurring in postpartum women, is not only an aesthetic issue but is also highly associated with functional impairments. Various conservative treatment modalities have been employed in clinical practice to alleviate DRA. Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are an emerging class of anticancer therapy that combines the specificity and long circulation half-life of monoclonal antibodies with the cytotoxic potency of the payload connected through a chemical linker. The optimal management of toxicities is crucial for improving quality of life in patients undergoing ADCs and for avoiding improper dose reductions or discontinuations. This article focuses on the characteristics and management of nausea and vomiting (NV) induced by three ADCs: trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd), sacituzumab govitecan (SG), and datopotamab deruxtecan (Dato-DXd).

In this Highlights article, we present insights into the use of simple cell lines in neuroinflammation research, highlighting key findings from our recent investigations. Simple cell lines, including HEK, PC12, SHSY5Y, and N2a cells, provide valuable insights into critical signaling pathways and hidden facets of the neuroinflammatory landscape. Focusing on specific outcomes, including the impact of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and acid-sensing ion channels (ASIC1a), the study sheds light on neuroinflammatory processes.

Objective: To examine the validity of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire short form (IPAQ-SF) against an objective method for assessing physical activity (PA) in Japanese adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 126 adults with T1D (aged 20-74 years). The participants wore a triaxial accelerometer for 7 consecutive days and completed the IPAQ-SF (a recall survey for the last 7 days) on the day following the 7-day accelerometer period.
