Introduction: The role of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in pituitary adenomas (PAs) is evolving especially considering its safety. Existing literature is hampered by limited sample sizes and short-term follow-ups, impeding its preeminence in the clinical and radiological outcomes. We propose a comprehensive, single-centred study to evaluate the outcomes following CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery (CK SRS) for PAs in a larger patient population, incorporating meticulous clinical and radiological follow-up.

Prior knowledge changes how the brain processes sensory input. Whether knowledge influences initial sensory processing upstream of the brain, in the spinal cord, is unknown. Studying electric potentials recorded invasively and noninvasively from the human spinal cord at millisecond resolution, we find that the cord generates electric potentials at 600 hertz that are modulated by prior knowledge about the time of sensory input, as early as 13 to 16 milliseconds after stimulation.

This study aimed to evaluate the recent trends in single-fraction conventional radiotherapy (CRT) as palliative treatment in Japan, using data from the National Database published by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. Data from fiscal year (FY) 2014 to FY2022, specifically related to the utilization of single-fraction CRT, were analyzed. Multi-fraction CRT, stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and brachytherapy were excluded.

Purpose: Especially in Europe, amino acid PET is increasingly integrated into multidisciplinary neuro-oncological tumor boards (MNTBs) to overcome diagnostic uncertainties such as treatment-related changes. We evaluated the accuracy of MNTB decisions that included the O-(2-[18F]-fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine (FET) PET information compared with FET PET results alone to differentiate tumor relapse from treatment-related changes.
Patients And Methods: In a single academic center, we retrospectively evaluated 180 MNTB decisions of 151 patients with CNS WHO grade 3 or 4 gliomas (n = 122) or brain metastases (n = 29) presenting equivocal MRI findings following anticancer treatment.
