Introduction: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is a critical condition associated with high mortality rates and neurological impairment among survivors. In comatose OHCA patients who achieve return of spontaneous circulation, early risk stratification is important to inform treatment pathways and potentially improve outcomes. A range of prognostic tools have been developed to predict survival and neurological recovery.

Introduction: In Australia, birth debriefing (BD) practices have primarily focused on clinical PTSD-FC, often neglecting the needs of mothers who describe their birth as traumatic but do not meet PTSD-FC criteria. The cessation of routine BD has overlooked a significant cohort- mothers experiencing subjective birth trauma (SBT). Their perceptions and wellbeing during the postpartum period remain poorly understood, and the lack of targeted interventions limits options for these mothers.

Background: The GRACE (Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events) risk score is a well-established tool for predicting major cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome. However, its application in acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) requires refinement to enhance its predictive accuracy in clinical settings.
Methods: In this study, we conducted a retrospective analysis of the incidence of out-of-hospital all-cause death (ACD), calculated the correlation and significance of the GRACE score indicators with ACD, and reduced the scores corresponding to insignificant and low-correlation indicators to adjust the scores for survive patients.
