The adequacy of the literature search is one of the critical domains that affect the quality of the systematic review. The aim of a literature search in the systematic review should be to obtain thorough, comprehensive, transparent, and reproducible results. Precision (also called "positive predictive value") and sensitivity (also called "recall") have been postulated as 2 markers for rating the quality of literature search in systematic reviews. The reporting of such measures shall help in improving the relevance, transparency, reproducibility, and comprehensibility of the search. A search strategy that maximizes sensitivity with reasonable precision shall improve the quality of the review.

More than 500 centres in China hold over 300,000 individuals in what has been described by the United Nations as unethical and ineffective compulsory treatment and rehabilitation centres. Individuals in these centres face widespread human rights abuses, including lack of due process, forced labour, physical and sexual violence, and denial of healthcare. Because of the vulnerability of individuals in detention settings to abuse in research trials, ethical guidelines have required research to pose no more than minimal risk, to address the process of incarceration, and the health or well-being of detained individuals.

Simulation-based training in mental health is increasingly recognised as an effective tool within nursing education. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of various simulation modalities, including standardised participants (SPs), role-plays, virtual reality (VR), mannequins and voice simulations, in improving educational outcomes for nursing students. A comprehensive literature search was conducted to identify studies evaluating the impact of mental health simulation on nursing education.

Transrectal (TR) biopsy has traditionally been the gold standard for diagnosis, but transperineal (TP) biopsy is increasingly favoured due to its lower infection risk. However, debate remains regarding which method has superior cancer detection rates.

Introduction: While various demographic factors and underlying medical conditions are associated with the development of post-COVID conditions within a month after SARS-CoV-2 infection, less is known about factors associated with post-COVID symptoms that persist for 6 months or more. The aim of this review was to determine the association between underlying conditions, other risk factors, health behaviors, and the presence of symptoms ≥6 months after COVID-19.
Methods: Studies reporting on post-COVID symptoms were searched in databases, including Medline, EMBASE, Global Health, PsycInfo, Scopus, CINAHL, Proquest, and WHO COVID-19 literature, from the beginning of the pandemic until November 2022.
