Parental depression is associated with offspring depression and sleep problems are prospectively associated with the development of depression. However, little work has examined sleep problems in the offspring of depressed parents and whether these problems partially account for the association between parent and offspring depression. This longitudinal study examined the indirect effect of sleep problems on the association between parent psychopathology and offspring depression in a sample of 10,953 10 to 12-year-old children participating in the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) study.

The MaschinenBauIndustrie Knowledge Graph (MBI-KG) is a structured and semantically enriched dataset extracted from the 1937 publication "Die Maschinen-Industrie im Deutschen Reich" (The Machinery Industry in the German Reich), published by the "Wirtschaftsgruppe Maschinenbau" and edited by Herbert Patschan. This historical source offers data on German companies within the mechanical engineering industry during the pre-World War II era. The book was digitized, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) was applied to extract text.

Background: Understanding the determinants that limit the population's access to surgical care in health services is highly relevant in order to provide data to support political interventions.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the time between diagnosis and elective surgery in adult patients with the longest waiting lists in Brazil; identify the determinants that interfere with access to the health service to perform surgery; and analyze the quality of life after the indicative diagnosis of surgical intervention.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with adult patients treated at three hospitals in the Southeast, North and South regions of Brazil, from October 2020 to October 2022.

Ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) is a common pediatric condition often treated with pyeloplasty. Despite the surgical intervention, postoperative urinary tract infections (UTIs) occur in over 30% of cases within six months, adversely affecting recovery and increasing both clinical and economic burdens. Current prediction methods for postoperative UTIs rely on empirical judgment and limited clinical parameters, underscoring the need for a robust, multifactorial predictive model.
