Introduction: Endothelial cells (ECs) play a crucial role in many treatments for cardiovascular diseases, such as blood vessel repair, tissue engineering, and drug delivery. The process of differentiating these cells is complex and involves various sources and numerous molecular and cellular events. Differentiating pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) into endothelial cells are one of the most effective sources for creating ECs in the lab and offers great potential for regenerative medicine.

Three chondroitin sulfate (CS) analogues with predominant subtypes (A, C, and E) were prepared from engineered K4 combined with regioselective sulfation. CS with the designed sulfates as the main components was characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, elementary analysis, and disaccharide analysis. CS prepared from the native or degraded capsular polysaccharide had molecular weights of 1.

To alleviate water resource shortages and tensions and meet the water diversion needs of different river basins, buried (cross-dam) pipelines have become an essential component of water diversion projects. They are installed in levee projects in key river basins such as the Yellow River, Jingjiang River, and Beijiang River. Due to the complex engineering structure and multiple sources of vibration excitation, if vibrations propagate along the pipeline axis towards the surrounding levee, they could have an adverse impact on the stability and safe operation of the levee.

Introduction: During pregnancy, women rely on a variety of sources to obtain information. However, not all of these sources are equally reliable, and there is the concern that especially online information-seeking may increase pregnancy-related anxiety. This study examines to what extent different sources of pregnancy information are associated with concurrent pregnancy-related anxiety (RQ1) and changes in pregnancy-related anxiety throughout the pregnancy (RQ2).
