Introduction: Inotuzumab ozogamicin (InO) is indicated for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory (R/R) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This systematic literature review (CRD42022330496) assessed outcomes by baseline characteristics for patients with R/R ALL treated with InO to identify which patients may benefit most.
Methods: In adherence with PRISMA guidelines, searches were run in Embase and MEDLINE.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that progressively damages the autonomic and central nervous systems, leading to hallmark symptoms such as resting tremor, bradykinesia, and rigidity. Despite extensive research, the underlying cause of PD remains unclear, and current treatments are unable to halt the progression of the disease. In this retrospective study, based on historical electronic health records (EHR) from a national health provider covering the period from 2003 to 2023, we investigated the impact of vaccination and medication purchases on PD occurrence and severity.

Unlike human intelligence, AI does not involve sentience or consciousness but focuses on data processing, pattern recognition, and prediction through algorithms and learned experiences. In healthcare including neuroscience, AI is valuable for improving prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, and surveillance.

This comprehensive review traces the historical understanding and treatment of uveitis from ancient civilisations to modern medicine, a history which reflects the evolution of medical understanding and practice in general. Early descriptions of ocular inflammation appear in Egyptian medical papyri from 1700 BCE, with subsequent contributions from Greek and Roman physicians, including Hippocrates and Galen, who provided foundational observations of ocular inflammatory conditions. Medieval scholars in the Middle East, particularly Avicenna, preserved and advanced classical knowledge while recognising the systemic nature of ocular inflammation.
