Background: Naringenin, a flavonoid compound found in citrus fruits, possesses valuable anticancer properties. However, its potential application in cancer treatment is limited by poor bioavailability and pharmacokinetics at tumor sites. To address this, Naringenin nanoparticles (NARNPs) were prepared using the emulsion diffusion technique and their anticancer effects were investigated in HepG2 cells.

Background: Astragalus injection has been utilized in traditional Chinese medicine to treat a variety of diseases. The purpose of this systematic review was to evaluate the effectiveness of Astragalus injection in the treatment of viral myocarditis.
Methods: English databases such as PubMed, Cochrane Library, and EMBASE, and Chinese databases of Sino Med, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the VIP Information Resource Integration Service Platform, and Wanfang Data Information Site, were searched from their inception until May 1, 2024.

Enhancer RNA (eRNA) has emerged as a key player in cancer biology, influencing various aspects of tumor development and progression. In this study, we investigated the role of eRNAs in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), the most common subtype of renal cell carcinoma. Leveraging high-throughput sequencing data and bioinformatics analysis, we identified differentially expressed eRNAs in KIRC and constructed eRNA-centric regulatory networks.

Background: To assess the effectiveness of tumor biomarkers in distinguishing epithelial ovarian tumors (EOTs) and guiding clinical decisions across each Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System (O-RADS) MRI risk category, the aim is to prevent unnecessary surgeries for benign lesions, avoid delays in treating malignancies, and benefit individuals requiring fertility preservation or those intolerant to over-extensive surgery.
Methods: A total of 54 benign, 104 borderline, and 203 malignant EOTs (BeEOTs, BEOTs and MEOTs) were enrolled and retrospectively assigned risk scores. The role of tumor biomarkers in diagnosing and managing EOTs within each risk category was evaluated by combining receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves with clinicopathological characteristics.
