All-solid-state Li-metal battery (ASSLB) chemistry with thin solid-state electrolyte (SSE) membranes features high energy density and intrinsic safety but suffers from severe dendrite formation and poor interface contact during cycling, which hampers the practical application of rechargeable ASSLB. Here, we propose a universal design of thin Li-metal anode (LMA) via a dynamic stability strategy to address these issues. The ultra-thin LMA (20 μm) is in situ constructed with uniform highly Li-ion conductive solid-electrolyte interphase and composite-polymer interphase (CPI) via electroplating process. As a result, the passivation layer with poor Li-ion conduction on Li anode can be dissolved and small surface resistance can be achieved due to the good compatibility of CPI to SSEs. The cycling of Li symmetric cell with LiPSCl thin film electrolyte (<100 μm) shows a high critical current density of >2.0 mA cm with excellent cycling stability at 1.0 mA cm. The ASSLBs paring with Ni-rich LiNiMnCoO cathode demonstrated the feasibility of engineered LMA design by presenting good rate capability from 0.1 C to 1.0 C at room temperature, as well as long-term cycling stability (81 % retention after 100 cycles). This work represents a general pathway to make thin dendrite-free LMA available for high-energy-density ASSLBs.

Background: Limited knowledge exists about the cultural approaches to managing the psychological and behavioral outcomes (PBO) of Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementia (AD/ADRD) in Africa. Specifically, to develop a culture-sensitive training framework for AD/ADRD caregivers, we explored AD/ADRD caregivers' cultural embeddedness in managing people living with AD/ADRD (PLWAD/ADRD) in Ibadan, Nigeria.
Method: Using hermeneutic phenomenological qualitative research design, we interviewed 23 caregivers providing care to PLWAD/ADRD in Ibadan, a Yoruba-speaking ethnic group of Nigeria.

The World Bank's report, represents an important effort to specify the benefits and criteria of fair processes in health financing decisions. Here we argue that the report's justification for increasing public engagement in health financing decisions, one of its most novel contributions, rests on a widely shared but flawed assumption that public engagement will produce more equitable outcomes. Examining evidence from national-level public engagement initiatives cited in the report, we argue that there is no reason to assume that engaged publics will prioritize equity over other relevant values such as the maximization of population health.

This in vitro study aims to evaluate various surface treatments on the shear bond strength and failure mode of CAD/CAM PMMA teeth to the heat-polymerized acrylic denture base. The study sample consisted of 100 teeth that were divided equally into five groups: Group 1: denture artificial teeth (control), Group 2: PMMA teeth without surface treatment, Group 3: PMMA teeth with MMA etching, Group 4: PMMA teeth with sandblasting (aluminum oxide particles), and Group 5: PMMA teeth with perpendicular grooves. The shear bond strength test was performed using a universal testing machine and the failure mode was recorded.
