Introduction: Digital social contact is increasingly being used, which accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to determine the consensus among stakeholders regarding recommendations for the use and facilitation of digital social contact for people with intellectual disabilities living in sheltered care facility homes.
Methods: This consensus statement was developed in three consecutive rounds of questionnaires (rapid online modified Delphi design). The expert-groups included people with disabilities ( = 6) and their families ( = 10), support professionals ( = 9), behavioural consultants ( = 7), managers of sheltered care facility homes ( = 10), scientists and industry experts ( = 15).
Findings: Four main themes were identified: 1. Reasons for and types of digital social contact; 2. Support and training needs; 3. Materials and other requirements needed to enable digital social contact; and 4. Best practices and future developments. For each theme, several recommendations were formulated.
Discussion And Conclusion: This study resulted in a consensus statement aimed mainly at care professionals, families of people with intellectual disabilities and managers of sheltered care facility homes. Findings show that digital social contact can contribute to societal participation of people with disabilities. Additionally, tailored exploration of digital contact is recommended, as well as aiming for inclusive-by-design technology developments with developers and stakeholders working together.

Background: Recent studies suggest that increased digital technology usage could be a factor in the rising occurrence and severity of headache episodes. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to determine whether the severity of primary headaches (migraine and tension-type headache) is associated with problematic internet use taking many covariates into account.
Methods: We conducted an online cross-sectional survey using a quantitative, descriptive questionnaire, targeting university students enrolled in correspondence courses, aged 18 to 65.

Background: Despite South Africa's well-established Civil Registration and Vital Statistics system (CRVS) and good completeness of death registration, challenges persist in terms of the quality of cause of death information and the delayed availability of mortality statistics. The introduction of an electronic medical certification of cause of death (eMCCD) system may offer opportunities to improve both the quality and timeliness of this information.
Methods: This study used an exploratory mixed methods design to investigate perceptions surrounding an electronic solution for registering deaths in South Africa.

Background: This study aims to evaluate the impact of different thresholds and voxel sizes on the accuracy of Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) tooth reconstruction and to assess the accuracy of fused CBCT and intraoral scanning (IOS) tooth models using curvature continuity algorithms under varying thresholds and voxel conditions.
Methods: Thirty-two isolated teeth were digitized using IOS and CBCT at two voxel sizes and five threshold settings. Crown-root fusion was performed using a curvature continuity algorithm.

Mental illness is a significant public health concern and a leading cause of disability worldwide. Research shows a lack of mental health knowledge and inappropriate practices in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. Our study aimed to evaluate individuals' perspectives on mental health by analyzing their responses to a digital campaign directed at GCC adolescents.
