Background: Although several National Data Registries for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) exist, few are comprehensive and contemporary. A National Australian CHD Registry has been developed that aims to redress this by creating the first comprehensive data collection for CHD children and adults, initially across Australia.

Background: Strabismus is known to negatively affect patients' self-confidence and ability to interact with society. Strabismus is commonly depicted in animated films marketed to children, potentially influencing the perception of strabismus by young impressionable audiences.

Methods: We reviewed all animated films released by Walt Disney Animation Studios from 1989 to 2022 and all films released by Pixar, DreamWorks, and Studio Ghibli before 2023 and identified all characters with strabismus.

This case report describes a rare instance of reflex seizures in a 4-year-old boy with a complex medical history, including total anomalous pulmonary venous connection and developmental disabilities. The patient experienced seizures triggered exclusively by a specific visual stimulus: the transition scene from the Disney castle to the Pixar lamp in Disney-Pixar movies. Video electroencephalography (EEG) revealed biparasagittal rhythmic delta waves and diffuse slowing, suggesting parietal involvement and complex cortical processing.
