The Jordan-Wigner transformation permits one to convert spin 1/2 operators into spinless fermion ones, or vice versa. Several closely related ab initio thermal mean-field theories for fermions, both well-established and new ones, are compared with one another at the formalism level and numerically. Employing the robust infinite time evolving block decimation (iTEBD) technique and the Lanczos technique, we meticulously obtain the model's ground state properties.
