Article Abstract
Graft copolymers have gained significant importance in various fields due to their tunable functionality and well-defined architecture. However, there are still limitations due to the compatibility of monomers and functional groups depending on the polymerization mode. Click chemistry has solved this problem through its ability to easily and quantitatively link a wide range of polymers and functional groups. The combination of click chemistry, including copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC), thiol-ene, and thiol-yne reactions, with various polymerization techniques offers a promising solution for the robust and efficient preparation of graft copolymers with the desired architecture and functionality. In this review, we present successful applications of click chemistry in the production of well-defined graft copolymers with diverse functionalities such as for electronics, energy devices, biomedical applications, and nanotechnology.
Chiral macrocycles have emerged as attractive media for chromatographic enantioseparation due to their excellent host-guest recognition properties. In this study, a new chiral stationary phase (CSP) based on 1,1'-binaphthyl chiral polyimine macrocycle (CPM) was reported. The CPM was synthesized by one-step aldehyde-amine condensation of (S)-2,2'-dihydroxy-[1,1'-binaphthalene]-3,3'-dicarboxaldehyde with 1,2-phenylenediamine and bonded on thiolated silica via the thiol-ene click reaction to afford the CSP.

The widely recognized phytohormone, salicylic acid (SA), serves not only as an exogenous additive for fruits and vegetables but, more crucially, as an in vivo regulator of the entire plant growth process. Triazolium α-cyclodextrin click cluster-magnetic agarose bead conjugate (CCC-MAB) was used to enrich phosphatidylinositol bisphosphates in brain tissue. The enriched sample was phosphate-methylated and analyzed by MALDI-TOF-MS/MS in positive ion mode. CCC-MAB effectively removed weak-binding interferences from the phosphoinositide extract and improved the signal-to-noise ratio.
1,2,3-triazole-based ring connected with pyridazine, triazine, methyl pyrazole, diphenyl pyrazole, and pthalimide moieties through propylene linker have been synthesized for antidiabetic evaluation via click chemistry. The antidiabetic evaluations have been done by molecular docking studies and in- vitro tests and against the DPP-4 enzyme. The present work reports on the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of a set of novel triphenyl-modified silica-based stationary phases without and with embedded ion-exchange sites for mixed-mode liquid chromatography. The three synthesized triphenyl phases differed in additionally incorporated ion-exchange sites. In one embodiment, allyltriphenylsilane was bonded to thiol-modified silica by thiol-ene click reaction, leading to particles with no ion-exchange sites.
