The Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) is effective for speed control in sensorless Induction Motor (IM) drives, particularly at zero and very low speeds. This study enhances MRAS's resilience and dynamic performance by integrating an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller into sensorless vector-controlled IM drives. The research addresses challenges related to parameter uncertainties, load variations, and external disturbances through the combination of MRAS and ANFIS. The ANFIS controller enhances dynamic performance by adjusting its parameters based on the error between estimated and measured rotor speeds, which improves reference speed tracking and ensures smoother drive operation. This integration of ANFIS with MRAS reduces the sensitivity of the sensorless control system to parameter variations, such as changes in motor parameters or load torque, thereby enhancing system stability. The primary goal is to ma-intain stability and mitigate the impact of parameter variations on the sensorless control system. The proposed MRAS-ANFIS scheme was evaluated using MATLAB and compared with existing systems. Results show that the ANFIS-enhanced MRAS delivers superior dynamic performance and robustness, proving to be an effective solution for applications demanding precise speed control and high reliability. • integrating an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with MRAS enhances the dynamic performance and resilience of sensorless Induction Motor (IM) drives, particularly at zero and very low speeds.• The ANFIS controller adapts to parameter uncertainties, load variations, and disturbances, improving speed tracking and reducing sensitivity to motor parameter changes, thus enhancing system stability.• MATLAB simulations show that the ANFIS-enhanced MRAS outperforms existing systems, offering superior dynamic performance and robustness, making it ideal for precise speed control applications

Purpose: To investigate whether surgery is more effective than follow-up in reducing psychological distress for patients with observable indeterminate pulmonary nodules (IPNs) and to assess if psychological distress can serve as a potential surgical indication for IPNs.

Methods: This prospective observational study included 341 patients with abnormal psychometric results, as measured by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Of these, 262 patients opted for follow-up and 79 chose surgery.

Background: Wall shear stress (WSS) plays a crucial role in the natural history of intracranial aneurysms (IA). However, spatial variations among WSS have rarely been utilized to correlate with IAs' natural history. This study aims to establish the feasibility of using spatial patterns of WSS data to predict IAs' rupture status (i.

Background: Early knee effusion is a common phenomenon after total knee arthroplasty (TKA), with potential clinical implications. Unlike traditional alloy knee prostheses, the polyetheretherketone (PEEK) knee system has radiographic transparency on magnetic resonance (MR) scans, which allows analysis of prosthetic knee effusion. We aimed to identify the distribution and volume of knee effusion after TKA with the PEEK prosthesis with use of MR imaging and to analyze whether dynamic changes in effusion were correlated with serum inflammatory marker changes and knee function recovery.

Purpose Of Review: The role of the lymphatic system in clearing extravasated fluids, lipid transport, and immune surveillance is well established, and lymphatic vasculature can provide a vital role in facilitating crosstalk among various organ systems. Lymphatic vessels rely on intrinsic and local factors to absorb and propel lymph from the interstitium back to the systemic circulation. The biological implications of local influences on lymphatic vessels are underscored by the exquisite sensitivity of these vessels to environmental stimuli.

Understanding how structural modifications affect the photophysics of organic linkers is crucial for their integration into metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for light-driven applications. This study explores the impact of varying the amine functional group position on two terephthalic acid derivatives─linker and linker ─by investigating their photophysics through a combination of steady-state and ultrafast laser spectroscopy and time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations. With tetrahydrofuran as the solvent, time-correlated single-photon counting revealed a 2-fold increase in the S excited-state lifetime of the molecule with the amine group at the meta position compared with that of the molecule with the amine group at the ortho position.
