The coal industry faces heavy constraints from environmental regulation because of its high energy consumption and pollution. Although this industry is striving to promote digital transformation, the impact of environmental regulation on this process remains unclear. Thus, based on Chinese coal A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2022, our study examines the nonlinear relationship between environmental regulation and digital transformation, and explores the mechanism of corporate innovation, and the moderating effects of media and investor attention, respectively. The findings reveal that: (1) An inverted U-shaped relationship exists between environmental regulation and the digital transformation of the coal industry; (2) Environmental regulation influences the digital transformation of the coal industry through corporate innovation; (3) From an external supervision perspective, media and investor attention positively moderate the inverted U-shaped relationship; (4) The inverted U-shaped relationship is more pronounced in state-owned enterprises. (5) Green innovation in coal industry partially mitigates the negative impact of environmental regulation on digital transformation. Therefore, digital transformation of the coal industry can be promoted through the establishing appropriate environmental regulation, strengthening on corporate innovation, and expanding external supervision channels.

Introduction Recently, immune cells within the tumor microenvironment (TME) have become crucial in regulating cancer progression and treatment responses. The dynamic interactions between tumors and immune cells are emerging as a promising strategy to activate the host's immune system against various cancers. The development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) involve complex biological processes, with the role of the TME and tumor phenotypes still not fully understood.

Background: The endangered Kashmir musk deer (Moschus cupreus), native to high-altitude Himalayas, is an ecological significant and endangered ungulate, threatened by habitat loss and poaching for musk pod distributed in western Himalayan ranges of India, Nepal and Afghanistan. Despite its critical conservation status and ecological importance in regulating vegetation dynamics, knowledge gaps persist regarding its population structure and genetic diversity, hindering effective management strategies.

Methods And Results: We aimed to understand the population genetics of Kashmir musk deer in north-western Himalayas using two mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) regions and 11 microsatellite loci.

Risk-taking is a concerning yet prevalent issue during adolescence and can be life-threatening. Examining its etiological sources and evolving pathways helps inform strategies to mitigate adolescents' risk-taking behavior. Studies have found that unfavorable environmental factors, such as adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), are associated with momentary levels of risk-taking in adolescents, but little is known about whether ACEs shape the developmental trajectory of risk-taking.

Myoglobin (Mb), an important cardiac marker, plays a crucial role in diagnosing, monitoring, and evaluating the condition of patients with cardiovascular diseases. Here, we propose a label-free photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensor for the detection of Mb through target regulated the photoactivity of AgS/FeOOH heterojunction. The AgS/FeOOH nanospindles were synthesized and served as a sensing platform for the fabrication of bio-recognized process for Mb.

The widespread use of antibiotics has led to the emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria, which pose significant threats to animal health and food safety. Host defense peptides (HDPs) have emerged as promising alternatives because of their unique antimicrobial properties and minimal resistance induction. However, the high costs associated with HDP production and incorporation into animal management practices hinder their widespread application.
